Launched as part of the new Tire Service Line
Owatonna, MN – OTC, a division of Service Solutions, LLC, has unveiled a new line of Tire Bead Seaters (P/N’s 5700, 5702, 5713). Designed with productivity and safety in mind, these tools take a potentially dangerous process – seating difficult tire beads – and make it easy and safe to use in the shop environment.
“The OTC Bead Seaters are effective tools equipped with unique configurations that enhance ease of use, productivity and safety for technicians looking to get the job done right every time,” said Rob Kochie, OTC Aftermarket Product Manager.
The unique air trigger on the Tire Bead Seaters expel a tremendous burst of air that inflates the tire to seat it to the wheel rim, allowing the tire to be inflated to the recommended pressure through the tire valve. The trigger-style discharge valve provides optimum airflow control while allowing both hands to firmly hold the nozzle/valve assembly, which is critical for effective and safe use.
The 5713 features a large 13-gallon air tank with a nozzle and valve assembly connected via a flexible hose, giving the user more control rather than requiring them to hold the weight of the tank. It also allows for multiple inflations per tank so technicians can service vehicles in the field as well as in shop. Wheels and adjustable handle allow the Tire Bead Seater to be used in either the vertical or horizontal position for easy mobility and storage. The 5702 features a 2-gallon tank with the unique air trigger and nozzle assembly attached. This provides a compact and economical solution, while still allowing a firm grip on the tool with both hands.
The 5700 bead seater accessory allows the unique valve and trigger assembly to be connected to an existing tire charger surge tank. This provides the great features of the OTC bead seaters within reach while changing tires.
