Washington — The Federal Communications Commission is moving ahead  with a proposal that would allow the use of part of the wireless spectrum for  Wi-Fi that had been reserved for future vehicle-to-vehicle technology.

Automakers are worried the decision, which won’t be final until next year, could hinder the technology that could prevent  thousands of road deaths…
