Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac dealers in the U.S. reported 27,627 sales of certified pre-owned vehicles, an 11 percent increase compared to last month and a 20 percent increase compared to December 2010. Through the end of 2011, combined sales of Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac Certified Pre-Owned vehicles reached 308,995 units, a 4 percent increase compared to 2010 sales.

“Throughout 2011, we have responded to the needs of our consumers and dealers, providing them with significant new program benefits,” said Larry Pryg, national manager, Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles. “Between the addition of Owner Care and a more robust vehicle inspection process, these improvements have given our customers more reasons to choose our brand, while also increasing our dealers’ satisfaction and engagement with the program.”
The month of December marks the Chevrolet Impala’s fifth consecutive month of leading the way with the highest total sales. For the month of December, the top two sellers for each brand include:
