When we talk about car makers in the USA, one company that probably doesn’t come up much these days is Peugeot. Founded in 1810, this French car maker was a household name at the turn of the 20th century by the time Henry Ford came around, but come the early 90s, Peugeot sold their last cars here.
Why then would they want to enter back into the USA, and what will they offer?
To answer this, we welcomed Autoline Host John McElroy to join us last month for a candid conversation about PSA, the parent company of Peugeot USA, and how this car maker plans to re-enter the USA market, not so much as an automobile manufacturer, but as a Mobility-as-a-Service provider.
John had an extensive interview with Peugeot USA President Larry Dominique earlier in the month, who provided high level details on why and how PSA is coming back to the USA, and in this video you get a glimpse of my conversation with John.
Also in this video you will get a peek into the backstory of Autoline TV, which John and his team have been producing since the late 1990s. Enjoy!
