A story from USA Today said auto repair shops are trying to win a battle against insurance companies to be able to set prices of auto repair costs themselves. The story said right now the insurance companies are the ones who are setting the price of the repair costs, but some repair shops are being left with out-of-pocket expenses when the repair work is done.
