According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s website, Nissan North American, Inc. is recalling 36,608 2012 Nissan Versa vehicles to fix a problem with the power train. The website said the recall includes Versa vehicles equipped with an automatic transmission that may allow the driver to shift without applying the brake pedal. This could result in a crash or accident.
