Gainesville, GA – Black Book is proud to announce that Tom Cross, President, was honored as the newest member of the prestigious Ring of Honor for the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association (NIADA). The award was presented at the National Leadership Awards Banquet during the annual NIADA Convention and Expo in Las Vegas on June 26.
Cross has led Black Book as President since 2007, and he becomes the 23rd industry leader to join the Ring of Honor, the organization’s most decorated accolade for a non-dealer. The Ring of Honor award is given annually to an allied industry executive who, through outstanding performance and leadership has contributed to the professionalism and growth of the automobile industry. Cross is the third member of Black Book to receive the award recently, joining Tim West in 2004 and Gene McDonald in 1994.
“Tom has always been a strong advocate for our dealers, our associations and the industry as a whole,” said NIADA CEO, Michael Linn, in a statement. “Like our other Ring of Honor members, he has dedicated his career to the automotive industry, always giving of his time and resources to improve the image of the industry and to assist its dealers.”
