According to The Federal Reserve Board’s Beige Book, released November 30, 2011, auto sales gains were reported in the cities of Philadelphia, Cleveland, Richmond, Atlanta, St. Louis and Minneapolis. The Beige Book also found New York dealers located upstate stated their parts and service departments were busy during the month of November.
