Students enrolled in an automotive technical program aren???t just boys now a days. A story from The Virginia-Pilot said there are three female students participating in a two-year auto mechanics course. The female students, the story said, even though female mechanics are rare, they are valuable because they don???t come off as intimidating to the female customers. According to the story, only 1% of auto mechanics have been women.
